First stop- SoCal!
After escaping frozen central NY last week, we've been here in southern California for the past 10 days. Definitely a good time to be here, as it's been in the 70's and 80's the whole time ;-) We've had a really nice visit with all our extended family out here, including my mom in Riverside, Niall & Christina in San Diego, and Norma's sister VJ and my brother Clay out in the desert (Indio & Palm Desert). We also got to see my Aunt Martha and cousin Gail & her husband Stephen in Pacific Beach for a brief visit, and spend time with Norma's grade school friend Susan and my cycling friends Darrell & Julie! So .. it's made for a busy stay, but it's always nice to catch up with everyone. Now it's off to Christchurch & the main event!
